The Blue and Gold Banquet is a birthday party for Cub Scouting and will
be
celebrated February 4th, This is the anniversary month of the Boy Scouts
of
America. The Boy Scouts of America began in 1910 and Cub Scouting began
20
years later. In February 2005 Cub Scouting in the USA will be 75 years old.
The Blue and Gold Banquet is probably the most exciting event of the whole
year because all families can take part.
Dens need to make centerpieces that will be judged by invited guest,
Parents and Scouts will have a bake off, Dessert items are to made out of
100% food items. No tooth pics or other non food items.
Leaders who have helped the pack go this year will be recognized.
Scouts are free and there will be a small charge for adults and siblings
5
years and older.
